Joanne Bottrell

Joanne’s career started back in 1997 in the Banking sector with Midland Bank (HSBC), where she developed an interest in the Financial Services industry, initially as a technical paraplanner and then became a qualified Independent Financial Adviser.

She has gained valuable experience in the protection, pension and investment markets during the last 28 years, working with professional connections and developing relationships with their individual and corporate clients. Joanne specialises in pensions, investment and estate planning for individuals. Working directly with accountants for most of her career she also has a vast amount corporate clients. She works closely with her clients to ensure they create a bespoke financial plan and review this regularly to keep on top of changes both personal and external.

It has always been important to Joanne to ensure that that her clients can concentrate on enjoying their lives with the peace of mind that their financial plans are being reviewed and updated where appropriate leaving no stone unturned. Joanne’s thoughtful approach has enabled her to specialise in sensitive topics such as divorce or dealing with loved ones estates.  She lives in Canary Wharf with her husband but is originally from Sutton Coldfield. In her spare time, she enjoys the gym, cycling and running. She has completed 24 marathons and multiple 100 mile cycle events. She plays golf badly and enjoys the theatre on a regular basis. Joanne has a passion for travel especially if this involves something active such as skiing
